TRANSLITE’s TL-9248-ATSC/ASI is a professional bi-directional transcoder to convert video between H.264 and MPEG-2 format and also to transcode between HD and SD programs simultaneously. It is equipped with 6 Tuner inputs and an IP input to receive digital channels.

The Transcoding details of these 8-in-1 ATSC/ASI Transcoders are as below:
- Video Trans-coding: MPEG-2 SD/HD and H.264 SD/HD any-to-any
- Audio Trans-coding: LC-AAC, MP2 and AC3 any-to-any or pass-through.
These 8-in-1 ATSC/ASI Transcoders supports a maximum of 8 SD or 4 HD programs trans-coding and a maximum of 8 channels audio transcoding. They support both HD and SD resolutions
TRANSLITE’s TL-9248 8-in-1 ATSC/ASI Transcoders supports CBR and VBR rate control. They support BISS descrambling and CC (closed caption) and provide an IP out with null packet filtered.
In addition, they provide advanced re-multiplexing and have a LCD & Keyboard local control and a web NMS management.
